Softball Recap: Willow Springs Wins Going Away Against Alton

While Willow Springs put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Alton. Willow Springs put the hurt on Alton with a sharp 10-0 win. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.

Willow Springs has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs this season. As for Alton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willow Springs will challenge Licking at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Alton, they will head out to challenge Norwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
