St. Thomas Aquinas came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the North Plainfield Canucks, posting an 82-23 victory. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Canucks are ranked 193rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
