Basketball Recap: Springfield Gardens Takes a Loss

Springfield Gardens lost against Metropolitan back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Springfield Gardens Golden Eagles had to suffer through a 70-14 loss at the hands of Metropolitan. The loss was the Golden Eagles' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Springfield Gardens fell to 2-1. As for Metropolitan, the win (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Springfield Gardens will host Beach Channel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Metropolitan, they will head out on the road to take on Richmond Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Metropolitan is facing Richmond Hill at the right time seeing as Richmond Hill is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
