Softball Recap: Warren Comes Up Short

Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They came up short against the Hardin Hornets, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-1 loss on Friday.

Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Hardin, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-14-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren will venture away from home to take on Sotomayor at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hardin, they will take on Kirbyville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
