The Collegiate Cougars had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They managed a 41-36 victory over Trinity Episcopal. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Collegiate also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Collegiate was led to victory by Abby Craig and Clare Aman. Craig scored ten points along with five assists and four steals, while Aman scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Aman is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last five games she's played.
Collegiate's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. As for Trinity Episcopal, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Trinity Episcopal won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against St. Anne's-Belfield at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. St. Anne's-Belfield presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Trinity Episcopal in Virginia (St. Anne's-Belfield is ranked 12th, while Trinity Episcopal is ranked 163rd).
