Baseball Recap: Republic County Comes Up Short

Republic County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Minneapolis Lions, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-3 defeat on Friday.

Republic County's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Minneapolis, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat Republic County by a score of 6-3 later that day.
