There's no place like home for Amundsen, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Regina Dominican Panthers  a   10-0 shutout  on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 11 games by nine  runs or more  so far this season.
 Ashley Ellevog was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Kate Frey, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Amundsen was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Regina Dominican only posted a  batting average of  .062.
Amundsen pushed their record up to 14-11 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Regina Dominican, their record is now 13-5.
 Coming up, Amundsen is taking a road trip to  take on Saint Ignatius College Prep  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Regina Dominican, they will host Lake Forest Academy  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
