Basketball Recap: West Bloomfield Has No Trouble Against Center Line

On Saturday, the West Bloomfield Lakers beat the Center Line Panthers 71-60. The matchup marked the Lakers' most dominant win of the season so far.

When it comes to explaining why Center Line lost, don't look at TE'REZ HOLMES. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 22 points and 16 boards. Another player making a difference was KAMEREN HIGGINBOTHAM, who went 5 of 11 en route to 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

West Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Center Line, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

West Bloomfield and Renaissance will round out the year against one another at at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Renaissance's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Center Line, they will venture away from home to square off against Central at 1:50 p.m. on Monday.
