Basketball Recap: Jeffers Piles Up the Points Against Johnston

Jeffers won the last time they faced Johnston and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jeffers Jets blew past the Johnston Speedboys, posting a 61-18 victory.

Jeffers' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-6. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Johnston, Ontonagon, and Dollar Bay. As for Johnston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Jeffers will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Dollar Bay at 7:00 p.m. As for Johnston, they will venture away from home to square off against Ontonagon at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Johnston is facing Ontonagon at the right time seeing as Ontonagon is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
