There's no place like home for Holy Cross, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They skirted past the Fern Creek Tigers 6-5. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mason Lanham was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Noah Basham also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Holy Cross' win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Fern Creek, their record now sits at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Cross will head out to take on Bethlehem at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fern Creek, they are taking a road trip to challenge Collins at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
