Basketball Recap: Santa Clara Bruins vs. Harker Eagles
Santa Clara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost to the Harker Eagles on the road by a 66-52 margin. The Bruins were down 54-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Harker was led to victory by Rohit Yalla and Bowen Xia. Yalla posted 16 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Xia had 24 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. Those 24 points gave Xia a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Ruan, who put up four points in addition to six assists and six steals.
