Volleyball Recap: Water Valley Takes a Loss

Water Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wall Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Water Valley now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Wall, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Water Valley and Wall will both be playing Lubbock the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Westerners at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hawks will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
