The Santa Fe Raiders and the Stanton Blue Devils squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Santa Fe Raiders had to settle for second. They suffered a tough 5-0 loss at the hands of the Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, Santa Fe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 279th, while Stanton is ranked 50th).

Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-2. As for Stanton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5-3 record this season.

Santa Fe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stanton, they will be playing at home against Bishop Kenny at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stanton is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
