Basketball Game Preview: Cassopolis Rangers vs. Marcellus Wildcats + How To Watch

Cassopolis has gone 9-1 against Marcellus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rangers will head out to face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Cassopolis will be strutting in after a win while Marcellus will be coming in after a defeat.

Cassopolis is headed out to face Marcellus after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Rangers strolled past White Pigeon with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 70-51.

Cassopolis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lucas Williams, who posted 11 points and seven assists. Williams is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Tre Peterson Evans, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 10 points and three steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Cassopolis was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Marcellus had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 59-38 to Hartford on Friday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cassopolis will need to focus on slowing down Javonne Robinson, one of several Marcellus players who made an impact when they last played. He scored ten points and five boards. Matt Jansen was another key player, putting up six points along with six rebounds and three blocks.

Cassopolis suffered a grim 58-33 defeat to Marcellus when the teams last played back in February. Can the Rangers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
