The Hoonah Braves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Klawock on the road and fell 63-23. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hoonah in their matchups with Klawock: they've now lost eight in a row.

Klawock found their leader in underclassman Raymond Fairbanks, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fairbanks has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Bagby, who scored 11 points.

Hoonah dropped their record down to 1-11 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Klawock, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.
