Volleyball Recap: Suffern Comes Up Short

Suffern lost against Arlington back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mounties came up short against the Admirals, falling 3-0. The Mounties have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Suffern ultimately came up short, they really made Arlington work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-15, 25-17.

Suffern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Arlington, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. After both having extra time off, Suffern and John Jay will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arlington, they will head out to square off against Mahopac at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
