The Woodland Cardinals are taking a road trip to face off against the Clearwater Fightin' Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Woodland headed into their last game having not scored more than two runs for six straight, but Advance let them put that streak behind them. The Cardinals came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 11-7 on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Connor Rhodes was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Ike Landewee also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
