Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bureau Valley). They took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging an 86-44 win over the Galva Wildcats. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Bureau Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kadyn Haage, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 15 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Haage a new career-high in field goal percentage (63%). Libby Endress was another key player, going 7 for 9 en route to 16 points.

Bureau Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Bureau Valley's victory bumped their record up to 11-19. As for Galva, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.

Looking ahead, Bureau Valley will challenge ROWVA/Williamsfield at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Bureau Valley is facing ROWVA/Williamsfield at the right time seeing as ROWVA/Williamsfield is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Galva does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
