Volleyball Game Preview: Evanston Wildkits vs. Deerfield Warriors + How To Watch

Evanston is 1-8 against Deerfield since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildkits will venture away from home to face off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Evanston came up short against New Trier and fell 2-0.

Evanston was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Deerfield didn't have quite enough to beat Prospect on Monday and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Deerfield sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 15-25, 25-13.

Deerfield's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Evanston, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.

Evanston couldn't quite get it done against Deerfield in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Wildkits avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
