Softball Game Preview: Rimrock Raiders vs. Idaho City Wildcats

The Rimrock Raiders will square off against the Idaho City Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Rimrock managed to slip by Wilder the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Rimrock lost 24-7 to Wilder on Monday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Idaho City). They blew past Greenleaf Friends Academy 36-6 on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Idaho City's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2. As for Rimrock, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Rimrock suffered a grim 31-8 defeat to Idaho City when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can Rimrock avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
