Football Recap: Pine Forest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pine Forest extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They lost 33-8 to the Crestview Bulldogs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Tyler Floyd threw for 83 yards and one touchdown. Zion McCall was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards and one TD.

As for Crestview, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. They not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 23, 2024 (when they won 42-7).

Zy Tassin produced another solid effort throwing for 105 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 45 yards and one score.

Looking ahead, Pine Forest will challenge Booker T. Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Crestview, they will take on Navarre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
