Basketball Recap: Meeker Comes Up Short

Meeker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Stroud Tigers, falling 64-42. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 57-54.

Meeker's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Stroud, their win ended a 17-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-11.

Meeker will challenge Chandler at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chandler will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Meeker surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stroud, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-55 loss against Seminole on the 25th.
