 Sherwood came tearing into  Thursday's  matchup with six straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged the Northwest Jaguars out  8-6. That's two games straight that Sherwood has won by  exactly two  runs.

Bagania has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Liam Irving, who  scored a  run.
 Sherwood is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record  this season. As for Northwest,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 12-9.
