Volleyball Recap: North Henderson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North Henderson suffered their biggest loss since August 12th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Hendersonville Bearcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While North Henderson was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-20.

Hendersonville can attribute much of their success to Averie Russell, who had ten digs and three aces. That's the most aces Russell has posted over her last seven matchups.

North Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Hendersonville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

North Henderson and Hendersonville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Knights (ranked 207th) will meet Pisgah (ranked 51st) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hendersonville will take on West Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (121 vs. 9).
