Lake Forest Academy waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They enjoyed a cozy 64-50 victory over the Willows Academy Eagles. Given the Caxys' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Eagles are ranked 261st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake Forest Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for Willows Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Forest Academy will welcome La Lumiere at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
