Shadow Creek came into Friday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 12-9 win over the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks on Friday. The Sharks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mavericks, too.

Shadow Creek's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-12. As for Pasadena Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shadow Creek is set to square off against their familiar foe Pearland at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Pasadena Memorial will face off against rival South Houston at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
