Basketball Recap: Ralston Takes a Loss

Ralston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 67-19 loss at the hands of the Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 65-23 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ralston's loss came despite strong showings from Andi Radji and Makayla Hargrave. Radji posted five points, while Hargrave scored four points.

Ralston's record is now 0-6. As for Roncalli Catholic, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.

Ralston is taking a road trip to challenge Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Auburn has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Roncalli Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-46 win against Lincoln Northwest on the 17th.
