Soccer Recap: Windsor Forest Comes Up Short

Windsor Forest lost to Savannah Arts Academy back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, Windsor Forest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 275th, while Savannah Arts Academy are ranked 111th).

Windsor Forest has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matches. As for Savannah Arts Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Coming up, Windsor Forest will be playing at home against New Hampstead at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Windsor Forest will be up against New Hampstead's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.14 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Savannah Arts Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
