Soccer Recap: Mount Airy Takes a Loss

Mount Airy had taken South Stokes down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Granite Bears came up short against the Sauras, falling 6-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against South Stokes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in April.

Mount Airy's goal came courtesy of Carley Hill, who's now up to two this season.

Mount Airy's loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-15-2. As for South Stokes, they now have a winning record of 10-9-1.

Mount Airy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Stokes, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 victory against Walkertown on the 7th.
