Baseball Recap: Arvada Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Arvada and Resurrection Christian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Arvada had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 15-0. Considering the last time the Bulldogs couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Arvada's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8. As for Resurrection Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-8.

Arvada does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Resurrection Christian, they will take on Alamosa at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mean Moose have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
