Basketball Game Preview: Indian Land Warriors vs. Rock Hill Bearcats

The Indian Land Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Rock Hill Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Land is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.1 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, Indian Land beat Queen's Grant 57-50. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked sixth in South Carolina, while the Stallions are ranked 66th in North Carolina), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Michael Jones continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 11 of 24 en route to 26 points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Williams, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 13 points.

Meanwhile, Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 64-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carolina International.

Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Indian Land, their victory bumped their record up to 17-2.

Indian Land was able to grind out a solid win over Rock Hill in their previous meeting on January 3rd, winning 67-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Indian Land since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
