Basketball Recap: Lansingburgh Takes a Loss

Lansingburgh was the 60-50 winner over Troy when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Lansingburgh Knights came up short against the Troy Flying Horses on Tuesday, falling 74-49. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 456th, while the Flying Horses are ranked 105th).

Lansingburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Troy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lansingburgh will venture away from home to face off against Cohoes at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Troy, they are taking a road trip to take on Mohonasen at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
