Football Recap: Hampton County Hurricanes vs. Whale Branch Warriors
On Friday, the Hampton County Hurricanes didn't have too much trouble with the Whale Branch Warriors as they won 38-21.
Hampton County can attribute much of their success to Chris Terry, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown. Those 85 rushing yards gave Terry a new career-high. Tyler Davis got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Hampton County's record is now 7-2. As for Whale Branch, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Hampton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whale Branch, they will face off against Barnwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Barnwell will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Whale Branch surely won't give up without a fight.
