Softball Recap: Interlachen Comes Up Short

Interlachen fell victim to Beachside and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Barracudas, falling 12-0. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Barracudas recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Interlachen now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Beachside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-9.

Looking ahead, Interlachen will square off against Newberry at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beachside, they will welcome Tocoi Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Barracudas' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Toros have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
