Basketball Recap: Johnstown Christian Comes Up Short

Johnstown Christian lost against Ferndale two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Johnstown Christian Bluejays took a blow against the Ferndale Yellow Jackets, falling 70-40. The Bluejays just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Ferndale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caleb Fenton, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards. What's more, Fenton also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Chance Washington, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 18 rebounds.

Johnstown Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Ferndale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Johnstown Christian has already played their next game, a 55-26 defeat against Great Commission on the 31st. As for Ferndale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 55-44 win against Belleville Mennonite on the 31st.
