Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Florence-Carlton). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Stevensville Yellowjackets a 12-0 shutout on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Mason Arlington was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brodie Hinsdale, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Florence-Carlton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got Florence-Carlton back to even at 4-4. As for Stevensville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
