Olympia got themselves on the board against Prairie Central on Thursday, but Prairie Central never followed suit. They blew past the Hawks 13-0. The game was the first time the Spartans have beaten the Hawks on their field since April 25, 2019.

The victory made it two in a row for Olympia and bumps their season record up to 11-14. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Prairie Central, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olympia will face off against Monticello at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
