Softball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

Appleton West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Hortonville Polar Bears. If the Terrors were looking for revenge after losing 31-1 to the Polar Bears when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Appleton West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hortonville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Appleton West is set to square off against their familiar foe Kaukauna at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hortonville will face off against rival Fond du Lac at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
