Basketball Recap: Corinth Comes Up Short

Corinth lost against Clarksdale back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Corinth Warriors came up short against the Clarksdale Wildcats, falling 50-28. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Corinth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Clarksdale, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corinth and West Point will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Corinth is facing West Point at the right time seeing as West Point is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. Clarksdale will take on Lafayette in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
