Softball Recap: Northpoint Christian's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Northpoint Christian finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against the University School of Jackson Bruins, falling 8-1. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Northpoint Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Bostain, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

With the loss, Northpoint Christian broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-5. As for University School of Jackson, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-6-1.

Northpoint Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-1 win against St. George's on the 6th. Hopefully University School of Jackson paid attention to the Trojans' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
