Volleyball Recap: Riverside-Durham Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Liesl Rehder and Nureen Khan + How To Watch

Riverside-Durham lost against Chapel Hill back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Riverside-Durham was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Chapel Hill's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21, 26-24.

Riverside-Durham's loss came despite strong showings from Nureen Khan and Liesl Rehder. Khan had 21 digs and three assists, while Rehder had five aces and four digs.

Riverside-Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Chapel Hill, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-7.
