Soccer Game Preview: John Battle vs. Central Wise

John Battle hasn't had much luck against Central Wise recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Trojans will be taking part in a tournament against the Warriors at 7:15 p.m. John Battle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.

On Wednesday, John Battle didn't have quite enough to beat Union and fell 4-3.

The Trojans hit the Bears with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zach Poe, Abram Waddle, and Ethan Mullins.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Central Wise was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against Abingdon, falling 8-0.

Central Wise has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for John Battle, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8-1.

Everything went John Battle's way against Central Wise in their previous matchup last Thursday, as John Battle made off with a 4-0 win. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
