Volleyball Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

St. Paul lost against Sacred Heart of Jesus back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Swordsmen lost 3-0 to the Comets. The Swordsmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 25-12.

Isabella Valdez had a dynamite game For Sacred Heart of Jesus., getting 37 assists and five digs. Those 37 assists gave Valdez a new career-high. Riley Sylvester was another key player, getting six digs and five aces.

St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Looking ahead, St. Paul will take on El Rancho at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, they will face off against Elizabeth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
