Softball Recap: Hudson Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Hudson and Little Cypress-Mauriceville squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Hudson had to settle for second. They lost 11-2 to the Bears. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emma Heckendorn made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 18-14. As for Little Cypress-Mauriceville, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 28-4-1.

While Hudson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
