Baseball Recap: Sheridan Blackhawks vs. Indianapolis Kings
Sheridan had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 23-16 margin over Indianapolis Kings. The victory was just what Sheridan needed coming off of a 10-0 defeat in their prior game.
Zach Bales was a standout: he scored four runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-6. Dayne Voege was another key contributor, going 3-for-6 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI.
The win got Sheridan back to even at 1-1. As for Indianapolis Kings, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
