University City got themselves on the board against El Capitan on Wednesday, but El Capitan never followed suit. They came out on top against the Vaqueros by a score of 4-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Centurions, who have now won four contests in a row.

Carson Hildebrandt looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, University City saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jade Barth, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. That run was Barth's first of the season.

University City's record now sits at 8-1. As for El Capitan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

University City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-7 win against San Diego on the 28th. As for El Capitan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Coronado on the 31st.
