Softball Recap: Greenup County Musketeers vs. Rowan County Vikings
Greenup County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 11-8 to the Rowan County Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Greenup County of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
Adrian Wells was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Kennedy McCoy, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a double.
Greenup County's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Rowan County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-7.
