Carbon won the last time they faced Emery and things went their way on Friday too. The Dinos came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spartans, sneaking past 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dinos.

Carbon got a great performance from Stockton Kennedy as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Kanon Childs was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Logan Bennett, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Carbon's record now sits at 10-13. As for Emery, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.

Carbon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Emery, they will face off against North Sanpete at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
