Softball Recap: McLane Comes Up Short

McLane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Edison Tigers. If the Highlanders were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat was their first at home, dropping their record down to 3-3. As for Edison, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, McLane will head out on the road to square off against Exeter at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edison, they will welcome Orange Cove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
