Baseball Recap: Boling Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Boling can now relate to. They fell just short of the Onalaska Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 8-5 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in March of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Boling saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jerrick Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Boling now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Onalaska, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

While Boling had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
